Progress Bar Material

Hello, Ive been racking my brain and scouring the internet looking for a way to add a highlight or what i want to call a spark to the end of a progress bar. Right now it looks like it just gets cut off with scissors, but id like to add highlight and even maybe a bit of an opacity fade to the very end of the bar as it goes down or back up.

Does anyone know how to do that? Im not seeing any area for it in the progress bar its self so im guessing its in the material?

Thanks in advance for anyone who responds!

I once made a custom progress bar using a Generated Band in the material. You fill the progress bar by increasing the width of the Generated Band, and it already has the gradient at the end by default.

Yeah like this:

That pic comes from:

and it’s not actually a progress bar. It’s an image in UMG and all the bar animation is done in the material instance.

I kept the progress bar but layered a dynamic material instance on top of it that moved at the same rate. took me awhile to figure out how to reference the material but i got it. Thanks!!

40 bucks! not bad to make things look a little more fancy! haha
