Programmer needed for puzzle game prototype

Project Title:
Eden 6 (very much a working title).

Description:
A 3D top-down/isometric puzzle game in which the player uses time travel to solve a series of rooms.

Team Name:
Good Bad Games LLC (Based in the UK).

Team Structure**:**
I’m taking care of the direction, design, management and placeholder art assets for the prototype.

I already have a composer and a 3D artist who are ready to begin when needed.

Previous Work:
I previously worked at 4J studios on Minecraft: Console Edition and before that I was part of Infinite Playground working on the sadly cancelled Mech Mania.

I have experience in running projects, overseeing production, handling a budget and creating art assets in 2D and 3D.

Talent Required:
C++ Programmer with an understanding of Blueprint Scripting.

I already have a partial prototype but my current developer feels the task is beyond his expertise.

The game may require a custom UE4 engine to get around some of the limitations we’ve encountered so far. A strong ability with C++ is essential.

Getting the time traveling to work has been the bane of the project so far. I’m very keen to find someone who can take over and get it up and running.

All the existing code and Blueprints have been extensively commented to make transition easier.

can you please describe what kind of limitation you are having from engine side?
And what kind of solution you are thinking off.

The issues so far are all memory related. The recommendation for a custom engine came from my current developer. I’m not sure what the best solution would be as I’m not at all familiar with programming.
