Programmer for High-End Virtual Reality (VR) Prototype

We are looking for a talented Developer to help us create an interactive VR prototype for head mounted displays (Oculus DK2 and Vive) as well as potentially porting to mobile platforms. This VR needs to be of the highest visual quality as it is being designed for playback on single platform high-end gaming computer only. Our studio is in Crows Nest in Sydney, Australia but we are willing to work with international developers using drop servers. We’ve got a very tight turn around for this project as version 1 of the prototype needs to be finalised within 4 weeks commencing 4 January 2016. Come on guys let’s make some art!

Requirements:

• Extensive experience programming Unreal for Virtual Reality including use of hand gestures (leap motion etc)
Qualifications:
• Proven experience building software with UE4 (games or otherwise), ideally that are consumer facing and content driven
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle
• Good communications skills and able to work as part of a team
• Solid understanding of 2D and 3D UE4 pipelines
• Able to write reusable, manageable code
Responsibilities
• Develop high performance, robust interactive in UE4 for Oculus/Vive and mobile
• Work with designers and producers to implement UX and design
• Perform bug fixing to improve application performance
