Procedural Biomes from the Marketplace not working as intended?

Trying to get these things to work in UE 5 / 5.1 and pretty sure they aren’t supposed to make my landscape look like a bad quilt…

All shaders loaded. Procedural Foliage turned on. Materials and Instances appear normal until I attempt tp use them, then they change to colored spheres…

I’m hoping someone has some experience with this and has a fix? Ta.

Hey there @RLK_III! That artifacting looks kind of funky! Is this on DX12? Does this still occur on vulkan/dx11?

Good question. I haven’t tried to change it to DX11 yet… I’ll give that a try and see…

The reason I ask is that it might help point us in the direction of the issue, since before 5.0.3 the editor defaulted to DX11, so it could be purely a graphical environment issue. Then we’d lean towards working on getting it to work correctly GPU wise.

Hello everyone.
I had the same problem, first in project settings I deactivated the Enable virtual texture support.

In landscape mode, -Paint, you can create the layer info for each material.

Save the new Layer info. and done.

Looks like a virtual texture pool problem, if your VT pool doesn’t grow then you will get this issue and sometimes you’ll have to force it to grow by moving your mouse fast left and right in your scene. The issues is not deactivating VT support, it’s making it work correctly as VT can save alot of video memory especially if you’re using large high quality textures.
