When I was using Ultra Dynamic Sky in UE5, after packaging and running the program, I adjusted it to snow or rain weather. The particles of snowflakes and raindrops were all black, and there was no snow or water accumulation on the ground. This is completely wrong. The effect is shown in the picture. Who can help me
Hello, this option is not available in my Ultra Dynamic Weather blueprint. I’m using UE5.2
Drag and drop a new Ultra Dynamic Weather in your scene, Select it in the Outliner and then go to details tab and search for word ray, there you will find this setting.
This happens due to ray tracing not being able to render your rain correctly, turn it ON or OFF.
This should solve your problem, because i know you won’t find anything related to this problem anywhere, happened to me before and searched for it everywhere and then had to try everything through which i found this solution.
If you still don’t find any solution, try the discord server of Ultra Dynamic Sky, you’ll surely get answer there if this setting doesn’t work.
You can get the link to the discord server from their Fab Marketplace.
You’ll need to update your Ultra Dynamic Sky to the latest version.
I don’t know in which version was this option implemented so id recommend update it to the latest it will most probably be still supported in UE5.2
If it is the latest version you are using than I don’t really know what might be the problem. Because many things about raytracing changed after UE5.4, so also in UDS that changes would have been implemented i guess, and so because of that even if you are using the latest UDS it might not support this in UE5.2.
Also try to change your translucency to ray tracing and raster whatever it is set to, but i think this problem occurs with ray tracing translucency.
Also check if your use HWRT setting is turned ON in the Project settings.
