I’m playing around with UTPortalTeleporter in my effort to punch through my landscape layer.
They work fine, except the SceneCaptureComponent (which captures the image to display on the sister portal) is locked to the the direction of the portal. And the direction of the portal determines which direction the player exits.
So it seems it’s not possible to have a setup (like in the game Portal), where what you are viewing when looking at the portal before entering, is what you will see once you’ve entered it (at least not on both portals). You’ll always be turned around 180 after going through one of the two.
Has anyone tried this or know how to get around it?
