I Understand that LUF is a Nice Change in the Editor BUT it dose cause Confustion For Most Creators Such as Myself such as Meshes Having The Wrong Scaling or being in the wrong location just for the fact that LUF Has a Different Layout to XYZ so if You Would Like to Consider adding a Toggle in Editor Preferences It Would by Much Appreciated.
I honestly don’t like the new transform system in UEFN. especially the way LUF handles it. this is really frustrating to work with.
Rotation is especially bad. The reset button only shows up when I manually type in 0, 0, 0
, but not on other values. That makes no sense?
And when pasting in old transform data, the positions are off, often shifted because of the minus in the data. So now, something that should be simple becomes a tedious fix-everything task.
Honestly, I don’t see the benefit of this change. It’s just introducing bugs and
confusion. Please give us an option to turn this off or bring back the old transform editor in the details panel. At least give us the choice to choose which one we want. (LUF or XYZ)
I really gave the LUF transform system a chance, but at this point, it’s just getting on my nerves.
Couldn’t agree more. The worst LUF effect is that it effectively removed the local transform mode as an option because it is not working anymore (after you rotate an object).
I have reported this bug repeatedly, but it is not getting fixed. Very frustrating, and surprising, as it is such an important feature that goes to the core of 3D world creation.
Actually, apps like Maya or Blender simply would not work without local transform mode.
