Problems with character animation while making a cutscene

Hello everyone, I’m learning how to make a cutscene and I keep running into a problem. The cutscene starts with the character in lying down animation, transitioning into the stand up animation and then transition into the fight stance (as seen in the first video).
The animations work properly when I play the cutscene through the sequencer (first video) but when I play it through level blueprint, the second animation plays off wrong, messing up the location and rotation of the character and the transition to the fight stance at the end of it, going back to laying anim instead. Removing and adding components to the sequence fixes it sometimes but that’s not the correct solution obviously. And if its fixed with that method, it gets messed up again whenever I make any changes in the sequencer. What’s causing this and how do I fix it?
