problem

i have a problem in unreal engine 4 that it’s a bit slow and my ram is 4 GB . is there a way to make unreal engine 4 fast ? thanks

Change the scalability settings under the quick settings tab. Which gpu do you use?

i change th settings and it move better than first but it still slow

is there any way that can i make it work in my system requirements :
processor : core i5-3230 M
ram : 4 GB
operating system : windows 8 64bit
graphics : AMD radeon HD 7670 2GB

As I can see you use a laptop? -> your specs aren’t so good, so you cant do much to improve it, but:

-make sure that you run your pc with the “hight performance” power setting
-when you have two gpu’s in your laptop, make sure that you use the good one
-close all other programs

This guy even has a better setup, but he also gets a pretty low fps rate:

Engine Version: 4.3.0
System Model: HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7670M
Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
System Resolution During Test: 1920x1080

SCALABILITY SETTINGS
Resolution Scale: 100%
View Distance: Epic
Anti-Aliasing: Epic
Post Processing: Epic
Shadows: Epic
Textures: Epic
Effects: Epic

Editor Viewport FPS: 10
Play in Viewport FPS: 12

Notes (optional): I normally don't use the UE4 on my HP Notebook PC, I just wanted to see if it can handle the engine and here are the results... ^^

if unreal engine 4 will work in that

processor : core i5-3230 M
ram : 4 GB
operating system : windows 8 64bit
graphics : AMD radeon HD 7670 2GB

by changing the ram to 8GB .

Upgrading the RAM will help, though your processor is a tad bit on the weaker side. The listed specs above are very similar to your computer ( seems even the same CPU? ) but has 8 gb of ram (based on his DxDiag attachment ). You’ll likely get similar results when having everything set to Epic settings.

What are you currently seeing as far as performance goes in UE4 with the scalability settings pulled back a little?

I personally would recommend you to upgrade to a PC, because laptops will never run so good with the UE4
As Chance already said, when you upgrade to 8gb ram you will get the same results -> so I think around 30-40 fps with the lowest scalability settings

but i have 4gb ram with 8gb ram it will 12gb ram that it will move fast over that my all work in laptop .

but i have a laptop and i have on it 4 gb ram and i will buy 8 gb ram with this it will 12 gb ram . over that my work is in lap . what fps that it will make in that system requirements with 8 gb or 12 gb ram ?
