Problem with vehicles.

yep, they do.
I realize it isn’t the wheels but an invisible “thing” wich do this.

Looking at the pic: http://jdmostro.synology.me:1900/images/capturec.png, is your root bone at 0,0,0 in blender?

Look at these 2 new pictures :
http://jdmostro.synology.me:1900/images/Capture1.png
http://jdmostro.synology.me:1900/images/Capture2.png

This is my new bones since I used your solution.
But the invisible “thing” look like a bone just under the origin’s bone.
Moreover the armature’s bone is red and I don’t know why.
http://jdmostro.synology.me:1900/images/Capture3.png

the “root” bone must be at 0,0,0 . i know its a apin to do all this but otherwise it just won’t work

I don’t really understand what I need to do now.

the root bone of your rig must be at position x=0 y=0 z=0

i got through all of this in my video’s , if you want to follow other tutorials then ask the author of those for help.

I haven’t root bone

You need to have a root bone. Whatever it is named (“root”, “pelvis”, “armature”), you must have one. It is not possible to not have one.

this bone can’t be move 'cause of in Blender this is the origin of my vehicle.

So you need to move the vehicle’s origin in blender (or better yet, move the whole vehicle object so that the origin is at 0,0,0)

please please follow the video’s i’ve posted other wise i can’t help you, trust me i’ve been doing content creation for Unreal for over 12 years, my main interest has always been vehicles.

once you understand how to create the vehicle mesh and the rig you’ll be fine, you need to understand it’s the only way a wheeled vehicle can work in UE4.

Geodav, I’ve already follow click by click your tutorial “UE4 Blender Vehicle Basic Setup a” and “UE4 Blender Vehicle CollisionMesh a” but solutions on your tutorials don’t deleted my problems. One more time today I’ve followed your tutorial but they send me to my initial problem. The fact is I tried Zireal07’s solution and I’ve a direct solution. Remember, the first problem I had was a vehicle which when it hit the ground was threw off. Moreover, if you look this picture :

You can see there isn’t bone on the vehicle. But I’ve 4 bones for each wheels. Now my problem is the origine of the vehicle in blender became a bone (wich was the problem with the bone on the center). I don’t think you are bad for Unreal engine and you are useless to solve the problem. i think your tutorials for the vehicles are a bit outdated and need to be update. Else your tutorials are good but useless for my computer.

so the problem you now have is that you don’t know how to move the origin of the mesh !!!

ok in blender press “N” to get the right hand tool bar
scroll down to 3D Cursor, right click in one of the values (x,y or z) and choose reset to default
select the mesh
in the left hand tool bar goto “Set Origin” left click choose “Origin to 3D Cursor”

this now sets to origin of the mesh to the 3d cursor which should be at 0,0,0

you can verify this in the right hand tool bar at the top in the location section

ps i’ll only up date my videos when i’m sure its required.
pps doubled check this work flow in blender 2.78a and UE4.14.1
