Problem with root motion

Hey! I have a problem with Root motion, I’m using Mixamo for prototyping, and it doesnt have a root bone. So I used the Blender addon which did not work for the animated fbx, and then just added the bone in maya manually. Now that all my animations have the root bone, I enable root motion in the animation tab of unreal, and nothing happens. Is there something I’m missing?

Ok I found the problem yesterday, if you’re using Mixamo’s animation, you have to download the character with skin, and the animations without skin. Then use the random blender plugin to create root motion automatically… Some versions of blender wont work tho so use version 3.0 to be safe.
