I’m trying to create a top, and two side ortho photos of my assest, a big 3d building that is captured great and has ground control. I keep getting an error which tells me “reality scan failed to convert reconstruction region” and asks me to select a new co-ordinate system. If I select one, it gives me the popup error again, I select it again and then it works. But the whole process seems buggy. It’s crashed on me a number of times and I feel this error is incorrect as I have a perfectly good co-ordinate system locked in. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve successfully created Orthos wihtou any issues prior to upgrading to Version 2.0
Hello Chris,
can you show here the print screen of the mentioned error?
Also, what are your ortho creation settings?
As you mentioned that you have locked coordinate system, what do you mean by that? Do you have set it in the application settings or just for the ortho creation?
Here is the error. As soon as I click ORTHO PROJECTION. I mean I have used Ground Control points using OSGB36 and I have the co-ordinate reference project and output set to this projection
I may have fixed this. I switched the Projection to an alternative one we use here in the UK and it’s processing without the errors
