Problem with my MakeHuman skeleton

So this is a problem I’ve been having for a while, basically when I import my skeletal mesh it completely flips out and the mesh lays forward on the ground while the skeleton stands where it’s meant to be. Using T0 as ref pose isn’t a viable option either it seems, it causes the mesh to be lit from the wrong direction. Any help with what’s going on or what I’m doing wrong would be very very much appreciated, this has basically had me at a standstill for the past month :frowning:

Hello;
i got few troubles with import from blender too but it finnaly worked fine by some youtube tutorials like :

and all the :UE4 Blender Character creation & animation tutorial 1 - YouTube

In hope it will help you.

Thanks :slight_smile: Unfortunately I’ve already seen both of these videos and they didn’t help with this particular problem :\

Sorry for bumping this but I really need the help!

Can you post a screenshot of your export settings in blender(export fbx tab) and makehuman(file - export) ?

are you using nighly version ?

could have a look here http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXWXR2pLy_hV6UwhLjirhNnelWpOzGWRI
i cover a bit with the makehuman rig into blender then to UE4

i do suggest you grab the latest nightly builds of both makehuman and blender, i can’t keep up with video’s on every version but i’ll help where i can

I can directly import model from makehuman to unreal. i selected “cm” in leght export settings and muscles skeleton

If you mean the UE4 nightly build, no. I’m currently using the 4.4 preview but I’ve had this problem since 4.2ish.

Thanks, I’ve seen these videos before and they were a great help but I went through them and nothing fixed this problem :\

I also tried the makehuman and blender nightly builds per your suggestion but nada.

The thing is though I need to take it through blender to create animations for it :\

hmm you cant export only anim like in maya ?
i mean you using nighly makehuman ?
