Problem to get paint layers work on top of Auto Material

Hello, I have started leaning Unreal about a month back, I am working on a valley environment with a river surrounded by cliffs. I have created an auto material for the cliffs and grass. Also, I have added micro and Macro variations to just grass. I have followed a separate tutorial for each step. For the River, I have used the above auto material and added riverbed and dirt material (these are separate materials that I have not used in the auto material) to it using layerblend. I have made the sharedassets after this and applied to instance to the landscape. The auto material part is working fine but when I tried painting the riverbed material, it is not getting painted as a material on top of the grass material, it is sort of blending with it (It is getting added like a tint on top of the grass material).

I hope I am clear in explaining what my problem is. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks a ton.
