Problem open .xyz point cloud exported by realitycapture with cad software

Hi all,
I have a problem when i want to open a XYZ point cloud produced with realitycapture in a cad software (cadview crash everytime and archicad show a point cloud but without any colors)).
But i can open the same file with cloudcompare and it works well.
I don’t understand why it doesn’t work with CAD soft and i need your help to find the solution.
Any suggestions?

Hi Adrien,
how big point cloud are you trying to open there?
Is it possible to resave it in CloudCompare and then open in your CAD app?

The point cloud has 9 Millions points and weight about 1.1 gb

I try to resave it in e57 and send to my client and i tell you if it works.

I suppose the size can be a problem there…

No because i did a try with a file .xyz witch worked with archicad.

I reimported it with realitycapture and it doesn’t work with both of them. The size of the file is 250 mb …

I am sorry, but I am a little bit lost there…
Have you tried a different point cloud? Have you tried it to import it into RealityCapture? Is the cloud still working in CloudCompare?

Finaly the solution was to convert the xyz pointcloud to e57 pointcloud with cloudcompare and it works in CAD software
