Problem importing FBX skeletal mesh

Hi guys,

I apologize if I chose the wrong section; this is my first post here and I'm still finding my way.

I am trying to learn the workflow of including an external car mesh and make it work in the local game. I imported the FBX as a skeletal mesh from Blender and that worked exactly as expected: I got three files (skeletal mesh, physics asset, and skeleton); the problem is when I drop the SK mesh into the viewport, the asset is added to the stage, but without the geometry; I mean, a new entry is added to outliner, and I can see the transform widgets, but there is no geometry. However, when I open the SKM in the  editor, everything is there, and everything works as expected in SKM and physics' asset; I just cannot see geometry in viewport.

I am using UE 5.1 with GTX 1070; please let me know if you require more information.

Am I missing something? Please help!

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of your model in the editor and in your scene so we can get a better idea of what your looking at? In the meantime, the first thing you should check is the scale of your model when exporting from blender. It may be so small you can’t really see it, or (even more likely) so big that its off camera.

Any additional specifics or information you can provide will go a long way in solving your problem!
