Hello! I’ve been trying to configure a “Basic IK” with a simple Blender model for several days, but the mesh always breaks.
I will tell you the process that I have followed:

List item I create a simple object in Blender and add the Bones to it, link them to the object…everything works fine in Blender. (I know that the first bone is used in Unreal for the Root, although that may be the problem, but if that’s the case, I don’t know how to fix it)

List item I export the object with the skeleton in .FBX format and take it to Unreal.

List item In Unreal I check that indeed the mesh is deformed if I break a bone.

List item I create a “Control Rig” and set the “Basic IK”, I put a “control point” on the last bone, but the mesh deforms…
I have tried several things but none have worked for me. Could it be that with Blender it is not possible to make a “Basic IK”?
Anything you know or think is failing for X reason, I appreciate you sharing it.
