I’m an independent animator returning to the marketplace after a 5-year break, and I could really use some community advice regarding the fair market pricing for my new release on FAB: “Baseball Bat Melee Combat Animation Set (One-Handed & Two-Handed)”.
The industry standards and storefront dynamics have shifted quite a bit since my last asset launch, so I want to ensure my current price point is fair for indie developers while properly respecting the manual labor involved in creating a complete combat ecosystem.

• Animation Quality: 100% hand-crafted keyframed animations (No motion capture data or AI generation tools used). Heavily focused on weight, gameplay responsiveness, and solid hit impact.
• Content Volume: 108 Unique combat and locomotion actions.
• Dual Delivery: 216 Total files—every unique animation comes in both clean In-Place (IP) and dedicated physical Root Motion (RM) variations.
• Rigging: Native to the UE4 Mannequin skeleton, fully compatible and tested with the UE5 Manny/Quinn via standard retargeting.
• Scope: Includes separate One-Handed & Two-Handed attack sets, multi-hit combos, multi-directional locomotion/strafes, smooth turn-in-places, and impactful multi-directional hit reactions/heavy knockdowns.
• Presentation: Features a fully compliant Overview showcase map with properly categorized character lines holding a proxy weapon mesh according to the latest FAB standards.
