Preview Mesh (Skeleton) not matching Retarget Skeleton Pose

I have a T pose that I retarget into the A pose, but after saving the Preview Mesh (Skeleton) still shows the T pose instead of the new skeleton A pose. Why does the skeleton mesh not show the new A pose?

So I am trying to take the T-pose character from Mixamo and use a control rig from unreal engine 4.27. I believe the control rig will only work if the character is in A pose. I adjusted the skeleton from T pose to A pose, but as you can see to the right (yellow arrow) that the mesh is still in T pose after I updated it. I would like to have the skeletal mesh in A pose instead of T pose. Any ideas?
