In my Fortnite map, I have pre-placed Battle Royale structures like wood, brick, and metal. However, I do not want anyone to be able to edit these structures when the game starts and is being played. When I play my map on my main account or when another account plays it, everyone seems to be able to edit these structures.
I have ‘Build Mode → Allowed to Edit → Default’ but even then everyone can still edit… any help?
With a prop there’s the allow interact group of settings, there’s the allow interact setting, this should work.
If its a doorway though it will stop it being able to be opened.
Theres also the show first and second interact prompts which might work also, one allows it to be repaired the other may be the edit prompt.
And there is also the props team setting, this affects the Allowed to Edit setting when its set to default
Do you have or know of a video or a more in-depth guide on how to do this? Honestly, this didn’t help much
I haven’t used player builds in a map. so I don’t know what settings are available for them.
But for standard props, the Interaction section of the Details looks like this
If your builds are indestructible you could just put barriers over them to block the interaction.
