pressing F doesnt focus correctly on imported static meshes

When trying to focus on a static mesh of a model I’ve imported, the camera will zoom out and centre on a far away point (the same point every time). In the asset viewer I can look at the orthographic views but only until I click the perspective view again, then It will lock my camera and not let my look at orthographic views. This doesn’t happen with default UE5 shapes like the cube or sphere, only stuff I’ve imported.
This didn’t happen 4 hours ago and now I can’t find a way to stop it. The only thing I have been changing is the overlay materials on some blueprints so I don’t see how I could have changed anything this drastically.
Any help would be massively appreciated .

Mesh focus is ridiculously zoomed out : r/unrealengine

Essentially, your collision is likely very large due to scaling differences between your modeling software and UE. If so, just delete and generate a new one in UE, and of course, change the scale before exporting in the future.
