Preserving the same velocity for a Ping Pong Ball

Hey people, I’ve set up this quick prototype but my ball often slows down till it stops or goes lightning fast and off the frame.

I think I need to add an impulse to the Event Tick whenever the ball goes lower or higher than a certain velocity but I just don’t know what vector to feed to the Impulse that’ll make the ball preserve it’s direction after applying the Impulse.
