Powered By Unreal Engine Opening Intro

Is there a way we can download a high quality lossless 1080P MP4 version of the intro to put as an opening to our games such as ?v=wzvnbtQWS9c and if so can someone point me in the right direction? I would love to show my project off as being powered by Unreal Technology!

they have a FTP with all that stuff heres the link:

ftp://epicpress:AMTzN1YK@ftp.epicgames/Logos/UE4_Logo

but i believe you have to contact epic to get a trademark licence before you can display them

Ahhh thank you very much for the info. I will be contacting Epic regarding use.

I would have thought would have been covered by the subscription-based license. Can anyone from Epic confirm if we need to contact them directly first, before using the logo?

if we could use intro for our games that would be just EPIC.

Well I’m sure we will get a response here before I get one directly from EPIC so I will just wait here haha. Also to help everyone out, I have converted the AVI file EPIC hosts to MP4 with the best quality I could get without looking compressed. The UE4 version looks pretty good but the other one is a little blurry due to me not getting the original file from EPIC. The links are below and hope they work for you guys. Just please don’t ship any products with these videos unless EPIC gives the okay!

Thanks 87Kevo! I hate trying to encode video and such things.

My pleasure!

The black parts at the start and the end are much brighter than in the avi version, or is because I’m viewing it with vlc?

It is VLC then, I have both and they look identical in Windows Media Player on my system, they both look great, nice job on the encoding man!

Thanks . Zeblote, I’m not sure what you mean. I view all my files in VLC and they look normal to me. Not quite sure what you are seeing. Could you take a screenshot?

I mean the black in the avi file is more… black.

Really strange. The only thing I could possibly think of is that you have a brightness setting turned up quite high or even gamma. Have you tried opening the settings menu in VLC and resetting everything to defaults? I’m currently running default settings and mine is just as black as the original.

I agree. I also tested in VLC and they match, black as black can be. They are different formats (mp4 and avi), so it’s got to be some settings or codec differences between the two filetypes (on that persons PC.)

Actually Zeblote it has to be something with brightness/gamma or even in your video card driver settings. I just noticed looking at your window bar that one icon and bar is brighter than the other. Not sure why that is doing that but yeah. Overlapping window settings I’m guessing?

I’ve found the solution: VSG:Video:Color washed out - VideoLAN Wiki

Changing it to 0-255 fixed the problem.

Yay I figured as much. Sorry for the late response regarding the photo but once I seen that I was like that must be it but none the less enjoy those clips.

still nothing official from Epic?

I would recommend you to bump thread: https://answers.unrealengine/questions/14669/where-do-i-access-the-latest-logos.html
