Post Processing Effects! (Toon Outlines, Neon Outlines, Hue Change, Fake Fog)

Video at the bottom!

Made some cool Post Processing effects today! It took a while to figure out how Post Processing could be done in UEFN but I think I managed to do it pretty decently

Rynex, this is awesome! How did you pull this off? I’m asking… for a friend. Yea, the clamoring audience wants to know! I love the Neon one. It’s like you grabbed an invincible star.

Hey Jay thanks a lot! Well it was hard to figure out but after playing around in the material editor for a while I found certain blending modes displayed Always On Top could be used to alter the image via emission!
I’ll share more as soon as I get a better version, these were some of my first attempts.

Just has a question in terms of post process volume. I did not see it in the content or place actor panel.

Same! I’m confused about this too! The UE5 tutorials I’m seeing are telling me to grab it from the Place Actors panel but I don’t see it there.

Those look very nice even 2 years on and I am none the wiser on how you did these effects - cool that they work though.

Would be nice if EPIC added more PP to UEFN some areas they neglect, could also do with some more Niagra Effects I keep buying things from Marketplace to find I don’t have the skills to get them working - so much easier if they gave us stuff that possibly worked on all platforms.
