I don’t know if it’s been done,been a while since I checked, but it would be nice to add extended notes to the detail panel of a comment. I understand that this feature is available as a plugin but our guys are not keen on using plugins that tends to break on version updates of UE4.
Thanks for the feedback and idea! I noticed this post on Twitter yesterday about how you can do this very thing using a reroute node :).
Except it doesn’t say how to make that ‘sticky note’ over the rerouting node. I don’t recall being able to type in formatted comment for a node in BP editor (nor multiline comment for that matter).
Just click the “…” to open the comment.
Use Shift-Enter to create a new line.
Shift + Enter in the comment bubble adds a new line
