Just out of curiosity is it possible to develop a game for pc/mac that doesn’t require quad core cpu’s and 8 gb of ram. I know that is probably the entry level requirements now days, but trying to open up some older computers as well.
It does depend how you make your game, as the engine does target phones proves it doesn’t need a fat boxed system per se.
Ive been developing or should say trying to develop on my 3 year old mac book pro with 4gb of ram and maybe a dual core intel cpu. I know in the end it depends on how much is going on in the game and how much eye candy you put into it, but what would you say the bare minimum requirements would be for an end project
