Possible flow HUD or UMG in plane instead classic screen overlay way?

I know is crazy question, but I want to place the result of HUD/UMG in a screen monitor object in the scene for example or in a plane in a wall. I’m thinking for a practice with oculus and trying to avoid classic static overlay 2D UI.

I don’t know if the canvas can do that, but i saw something similar in the Twitch session where Epic showed the UMG. They said, they are working on something to place UMG widget inside the scene.

Maybe you need to wait for that :open_mouth: I guess you could work around with some line traces and blueprints that change materials if you look at them or something like that.

Maybe someone has a better idea, i will stay around and watch the question (:
