Possible bug with exporting Instance Static meshes as USD VS Hierarchical Instance Static Meshes

I’ve filed this as a bug but maybe I’m missing something. I’m exporting a Packed Level Actor containing a mixture of Instance Static meshes and Hierarchical Instance Static meshes and the ISM’s transforms don’t get written to the .USDA. On the other hand the HISMs have their transforms written out correctly.

This image shows a mixture of ISM + HISM that were all in the same PLA to highlight the issue. The Sphere/Cylinder are HISM and the Box/Cone are ISM.

Any ideas? Bug, feature?

Yes this is a current limitation we are aware of, it is stored in our backlog.
