I’ve been setting up a FPS game using the Anim Starter Pack as base, I created the AnimBP from scratch instead of using the one that comes with the pack. However, every time I move sideways, the character arms rotate in that direction as seen on this .gif
I have compared my setup with the documentation and some tutorials and, according to that, it should work fine. I’ve also tried using the default AnimBP from the pack (UE4ASP_HeroTPP_AnimBlueprint) and it has the same issue.

both show how it works without this issue.
Can anyone with 4.12.5 try the Anim Starter Pack to confirm if it is a bug? or point me in the right direction here? I’ve already triplechecked my setup and really don’t know what else to do.
