On the Binary version of UE 4.7.6, I have found I am unable to change text values. When I attempt to change a text value, the editor begins to select other objects, and the program is marked “Not responding” by Windows Task Editor, and then I am unable to force close it without restarting.

I have not been able to reproduce this unresponsive error on my machine. Could you please provide me the exact steps that you’re taking to change the text values?
Also, is this happening on every single project that you set up and change the text values on, or is it just happening on one project? If you haven’t tried this one more than one project, would you please attempt to do so, so we can narrow down the search of what’s happening?

So the steps I took to change the values were to click on the text box provided, this was attempted with the rename project value, and the vector values for rotation and other transformations.
I just attempted to create a new project and when trying to change the name, the same problem occoured, and when changing the transformation values it went though a cycle of highlighting other objects in the details and world outliner windows.
So far today though the window has remained responsive.

Could you please provide me with screenshots on where exactly you’re changing the text? Or send me the blank project that also had the same issue occur?
I don’t believe I fully understand where you’re talking about within the Editor. At first, I thought that you were talking about creating a Widget Blueprint for UMG, which I tested out yesterday without receiving any errors. Now I believe you’re talking about either the Text Renderer that’s under ‘All Classes’ in the ‘Modes’ panel, or perhaps you’re actually talking about adjusting the project settings?
