Assets are overly broken down and not modular. If meshes are only ever intended to work together, they should be a single mesh. The only reason meshes should be separate is if they are modular, or if a mesh needs to move independently. If you would like to combine all of the meshes that will only be used together into a single mesh please resubmit through your seller portal at that time and we will be glad to review it.
Hey there @tag381! Was this a response to a marketplace asset you had submitted? Are you looking for assistance?
Yes please
Could we see some images of the pieces? Modularity in the marketplace sense, is intended to mean that you can use the pieces in more than what your pack comes with (or) if your pack is somewhat of a kitbash pack it can often count that way. The overly broken down portion could be referring to the nature of the assets being too granular though with visuals I can probably suggest how to improve them.
Hey @tag381!
I agree with @SupportiveEntity, we will need to see your assets in order to give any specific suggestions. However, generally there are a few criteria to look at when you get a denial like this.
- Do any of the meshes only work together in a specific way and should be combined? (ex: A house frame that only fits together one way)
- Are there lots of duplicated meshes (pillars, walls, etc.) that only fit into a specific slot, rather than one mesh placed in the spots it needs to be?
- Are things that should not be separated set up as several meshes (moulding from the walls, window panes from the window, inner wall from outer wall, etc)
I hope the above helps steer you in the right direction!
