How many polygons pt character would be acceptable? Im currently working on ww2 realistic shooter game (as realistic it can be for a solo dev). What should my target be for poly pr character? I might have, lets say 20-25 characters at scene at the same time.
For a WW2 realistic shooter game, aiming for around 20,000 to 25,000 polygons per character would be a reasonable target. This should strike a good balance between detailed character models and performance, especially if you anticipate having 20-25 characters on the scene simultaneously.
