Poly count for supermarket

Hi guys, I’m gonna embark on a small supermarket game project. There would be about 30-40 product kind for users to pick from, would like to know a few things:

  1. how can i keep the product polygon counts low? cause on each shelf the same product would be duplicated at least 20-30 times to fill up the shelving
  2. is there any ready supermarket asset?
  3. what’s a good poly count for a game like this, where user walks through the shopping isle and choosing healthier product vs non healthier product.
  1. Use Mesh instances and HLODs
  2. Check the Marketplace
  3. Depends on your target platform. PC, Mobile, PS4 ?
