Why am I seeing this faint dot mark when I test the game around point light ? Please take a look at this video and let me know what is the issue here…
I have checked other point lights in the level, they seem to be acting normal. I’ve deleted the point light and added a new ones and I am still have the same issues.
@3dRaven @Mind-Brain could take a look at this and tell me what’s wrong here. Thank you for your time.
Hey @GeekManGames!
Could you maybe give us a timestamp and describe more in detail what we’re looking for? The video is kind of all over the place. Super cool level though!
It’s not the lit ceiling, is it?
@Mind-Brain below you will find the issue, do you see that orange sort like faint ball. That is the issue here. Why am I getting this orange looking faint ball ?? There are point lights in other levels and I don’t see this issue.
Okay, I see it now!
First, try rebuilding your lighting, from what I understand that can fix a lot.
Secondly, make sure there isn’t a Post Process effect in there like a fog or something making it scatter the light from source.
Thirdly, try turning off Lumen- just to see what happens.
@Mind-Brain thanks for doing your best to help. This method worked in my situation, I looked for point lights that weren’t showing the faint ball, I duplicated and dragged them to this location. This point light was very far so I had to drag it until I found the location. This worked but isn’t efficient. If any of you have better solution, please let me know.
Ah, I noticed something. Related to the fog thing:
On the trouble light, check that your volumetric scattering is lowered to 0!
I see that the non-troubling ones have that, and volumetric fog was the thing I was thinking of being in a PostProcess volume.
@Mind-Brain it worked, thank you for your help.
