Hi all,
I have a question… What formats of point cloud are supported? Only PTX?

Hi Greg

If you mean it for importing of data, then yes, only PTX for now.
We are finalizing the support for the E57 format, so much wider device support will be ready soon.

Yes, if you want to create a model reconstruction from laser-scans.

E57 support will be amazing!
I’m having some problems exporting PTX from cyclone (Error: The point cloud is not gridded).
Probably because the PTX files have been filtered, and areas removed.
I am working from Las files -> PTX
If I had E57 support that might work a lot better.

If it is saying not gridded it is because you have unifed the data. If you export the ptx files before this point it will work fine. Bring on E57 so that we can use the images as well. Hehe

The e57 support for point-cloud import has just been released -> Version 1.0.2.1976 RC release
