Hello I am just getting started with capturing Reality. When exporting the Point Cloud I am getting Points created showing as Green points which lie on the grid If I turn the grid off they are still there.
they are showing in the component but not coming from the Picture import data it is causing a problem because it is then imported on a 3rd party program.
It seems to be the box around the area that does it.
Is there a way to turn these off somehow please ?

Hello Robert,
RC reconstruction algorithm creates closed (watertight) meshes, that is is how it works. These points you are referring to are vertices of the closed mesh. To removed them you have to use one of the selection tools in the reconstruction tab and then filter them out. You can use lasso tool, rect tool, box tool even the advanced tool. When you have the desired area selected, simply click on filter selection.
Select marginal faces (advanced selection in reconstruction tab) and filter selection. This will remove them

Hello Just a Update after testing through the software, Thank you very much the instructions they worked amazingly and when it goes to the third party software doesn’t now have the watertight Points on it.
