I see on the roadmap Camera Component and Player Movement but I see nothing about anymore Controller specific devices, specifically Point and Click and Vehicle
A Point and Click Controller Device would allow for Mouse Click / Tap events on Actors within a scene off those events we could then do things
And a Vehicle Controller Device would be a Controller we can switch to when a Vehicle is Possessed, atm we just switch to the vehicles camera and it is what controller possesses but it would be nice to be able to change this maybe by limited parameters within the camera’s boom or something to easily configure a first person while possessing vehicles or a multitude of different angles simply off being able to configure the camera of the possessed vehicle (or however the structure is done on fn)
With mobile now on iOS I think this is a massive oversight and if not an oversight then what? A choice?
Point and Click is the majority of decent RPG and MMORPGs, Point and Click Tap Adventures are actually the majority of what dominates roblox as by default you can tap actors within the scene.
This is not something that should be left to someones jank verse restructing of an extremely simple task which is to have the controller have a cursor or tap events, same with vehicle controller.
Its a feature of the Controller in UE4, a variable parameter within Controller, This isn’t something that should take long? Top Down and Side Scrollers as well as a ton of mobile game genre types have completely just fallen flat because this one feature is just not being recognized?
