Hi Community! I have recently finished and published my yet biggest plugin made for Unreal Engine! The first idea for this tool came from my fav game Ghost Recon Wildlands, where the buildings are placed and the surrounding areas are “stamped” around, so that they conform to the terrain shape.
There are many buildings like this, so I believe that the development team had to use some sort of automation, because the map is like 576 square km
With this idea I started searching and found no resources on the topic. The only tool that forces landscape to conform to a defined shape is a road tool, which works well, however it requires you to do a landscape sline setup supports only splines.
And so I started working on the tool which I managed to finish after 1 month.
As you can see, the tool works very well. I also focused on the automation. So basically all you need to do is just to create actor for stamping and have edit layers enabled. The rest is handled by you. It is very simple to use tool and I believe many will find it useful.
