Heads up to anybody getting stuck with their game crashing shortly after launching with using SCUE on UE5 when they open a packaged build, at least in UE5.0.3 the plugin is in “SCUE4” folder in Engine/Plugins/Marketplace/ but when packaged somehow it looks in the Engine/Plugins/Marketplace/SCUE5 folder for the files, if you simply rename “SCUE4” to “SCUE5” in Engine/Plugins/Marketplace/ it should then not crash after startup.
@BrUnO_XaVIeR would be awesome if you could fix this little bug, managed to get stuck on it for a few hours and i’m sure others may as well, anyway thanks for the free plugin it’s appreciated

I saw that the plugin already has pre-compiled executables that are used by the plugin, but these executables were built in another scenario and we do not have access to the source code. This is like a plugin accessing an anti-cheat executable that was already ready. Why is this?
Hey @BrUnO_XaVIeR can you confirm the anti cheat external process (SCUE4x64.exe) being run is kernel level/mode?
It is not. Unless you do it yourself, you will have to be qualified by Microsoft to do that.
ok thanks, wasn’t really sure
