Plug System like Half Life2

I am trying to create a mechanic where you take a plug from a tv and plug it into the wall. Sort of like half life 2 where you pick up the plug and you move it the socket. You can also take the plug out of the socket.

You might want to involve the Cable Component System.

For the plugs, I’m imagining an entity that you can pick up, and then once that entity reaches a certain distance from the socket, it ‘plugs in’.
