Pls help. im trying to make a under water base map/complex

im trying to make an underwater base map/complex and I come to the conclusion having an ocean body is just impossible/unpractical, so i want to make it seem the base is underwater with the effects only affecting the windows, like the UI changing when your head goes under water. how would i do this? Are there any videos?

That would be a post process

i seen this but it dont show how to apply it to a material that i could use with transparency

You don’t apply it to a material. You use a post process. Have you tried following the tutorial?

That’s the problem. the map will be inside a sealabs, the effects aren’t supposed to be inside the sealabs. only the outside and that’s why i want to apply those effects to the windows

Ah…

Then you can just make a translucent mesh with refraction. If you vary the UVs slightly, it will look like underwater

There will be something in there, but I can’t recall where…
