Please train Fab staff, this issue has been going on for years

Please kindly train Fab staff about Unreal Engine backwards compability. For years I come accross the same issue over and over again: I provide file version 4.27(static mesh assets), which automatically works on all newer versions of the engine, ensuring compatibility on both UE4 and UE5. And in about 30% of cases fab reviewer fails the submission, marking it as “should support the latest unreal engine version” or something similar as per the screenshot below (they assume that there is no backward compatibility for static mesh assets). I am so tired of this.

Agree with Fab, it’s a nightmare. Yet, did you tag your assets as being compatible with all versions including the last one ?

Hey there @GenericNickname7, and thank you for taking the time to reach out and provide feedback on the Epic Developer Community. I’ve passed this along to the team.

If you’re actively still experiencing this issue, could you provide your ticket ID so I can follow up and take a look at that thread?

Thanks!
