I know little about UE4 build pipeline so I’m not certain if it is possible, but it would be great to be able to work with C++ UE4 projects without Visual Studio installed.
Why? Because VS is an IDE not everyone needs. Necessity to have VS installed only to work with UE4 It’s not the biggest issue, but it is still an issue, imho.
You could use Visual Studio Code or CLion on Windows
