Fab only lets your redeem one single key at a time.
If you have multiple keys, you need to go through the entire process for each key, which takes a long time and has anti-spam counter measures that kick in after x number of redemptions in quick succession, slowing you down even further.
This is such a frustrating problem. I don’t get why it works like this, because both Steam and Unity have figured out that this is a problem.
But Fab just has to reinvent the wheel on every single thing that you do, don’t you?
God forbid you look at the other companies you are competing with to see how they are doing things in order to give your users the best possible experience when using your platform.
This has been especially frustrating in the past when I’ve bought Humble Bundles that include multiple Fab assets that need to be redeemed individually.
(Whenever they have a Unity equivalant of the same asset that gets redeemed on Unity’s asset store, they are always merged together in one single key that can be redeemed once to give access to multiple, completely different assets, made by completely different creators, all at once).
Today I purchased “VFX Master-Bundle for Unreal” on Humble Bundle.
It has 65 individual keys.
I’m considering asking for a refund (each key needs to be individually “revealed”, which I haven’t done yet, so I think a refund can be possible) instead of spending the ungodly amount of time it will take to go through the entire key redemption process + who knows how many “breaks” in between thanks to the insane anti-spam counter measures.
