Guys, please, I am working on a game with an unreal engine and then I got an unknown error. I said, “Maybe there’s something wrong. I did that on the project, so I shut it down. I said it’s normal. We’re learning. So I started a new model, a normal third person model, and this time it came to me with two errors.” I don’t have solutions, and this topic causes me depression
Hey @anonymous_user_fe049b39! Welcome to the community! Sorry this is happening to you. I need a little more information to be able to help.
- If possible could you list the specs of your computer?
- Get the crash logs from your project folder and make a pastebin with them and share here
*Explain in a little more detail what led up to the crash?
Hey @anonymous_user_fe049b39! Welcome to the Forums!
To add a bit more to what @SupportiveEntity has, it would be best to try and redo the steps to your crash, and if/when it crashes again save the crash log text and post it here. You should also post the steps that led up to your crash as well.
Before you do all of this, however, you should:
- Open the Unreal Engine → Library tab.
- Find your install of UE5.
- Click on the arrow right next to the Launch button and select options.
- Make sure you have Editor Symbols for Debugging checked in the menu and apply the changes.
This will let us know more specific information about what is crashing.
Any additional specifics and information you can provide will be a big help in solving your problem!
