It is extremely disappointing that any effort was spent on researching marketing gimmicks instead of the vast amount of in your face/low hanging fruit issues that exist for customers (and sellers). What exactly is the purpose of the marketplace? Is it to sell gimmick of the day materials? It does not make sense. You are not selling throw away consumables for costumers. How does that match the lifetime updates/yours to do with as you please stance(no limits license). From listening to Deke Waters this was very surprising to see. I am not finding solutions to problems. That’s my problem. I have no trust in system. There are no ratings, no feedback to peruse nor any refund policy for me to even try anything.
Are you expecting someone to come in and throw away some money buying shiny stuff on a whim with someone else money? 99 cent says exploit the customer for a quick sale versus this is a thought out transaction of a professional finding a solution to a problem they have. Quantity vs Quality.
Anyway, professionals are looking for other professionals to provide solutions to them. That was what I though Deke Waters explained. The 99 cent gimmick is so counter to that.
There is no way to preview anything without buying it. There is no clear refund policy about the solution meeting your expectations or obligations. Quite a few of the products look like items re-purposed without any/much care at all. Not sure how you are expecting better results.
Very disappointing. Flat out, some of the items look like you’re begging to get sued for copyright violation due to the poor effort shown in display of product. (unicorns and kittens that its just an “image” issue).
Always end on happy note: Unicorns and Kittens
tl;dr: problem to be solved is to help customers gain some trust of system/sellers (feedback, rating, sorting options). Price is not the problem right now.
