The current Unreal “roadmap” is not a roadmap if you publish it after each version release. That makes it a changelog, not a roadmap.
Please, could you share the roadmap during the “road”? (while in development). I think the purpose of a public roadmap is to be able to anticipate the next new features before they arrive, and to keep us updated and hyped with its progress. A changelog, as it already is, is useful too, but also (an even more) an actual roadmap.
Thank you, but I already knew of its existence from the day it was published, like a year and a half ago. Nothing changed, nothing removed/updated, and almost nothing “moved” to the specific roadmap of each version released.
I mean, that’s like a “photo” of the roadmap in that certain moment, september 2023.
I would want to have a more accurate idea of what to expect in each next version, not an hipotethical idea of what will come in the next 3 years (and without being marked as “done” after each release during those years).
The public roadmap seems to be back for UE 5.7 and later versions (“forward looking”).
Great to see what’s to come! Saved our team quite some effort since we wanted to create some workarounds / own developments for some of the MetaHuman features announced! Thanks Epic
