Would be ideal to have a “share as link” function (like typical file sharing services) for created MHs in MHC that can be emailed to others (i.e. right-click and MH in your MHC library, choose share as link, get a link to copy and email as needed)
A corresponding “import from link” button in the MHC library view could then accept such a link (or token) to import a duplicate of the source MH into the receiver’s own MH library. (same as “Duplicate” operation, but works across accounts to copy from one account to another)
It’s increasingly common for me to have projects that involve non-DCC practitioners (folks in fashion, business, non-digital students, video production pros, etc.) to create a MetaHuman to be “turned in” for use in a broader project.
Currently, to “turn in” those MHs, there’s a few hours of overhead work involved for each of those non-DCC users … install UE (including XCode if they use a Mac) and Bridge, Create a UE Project, Download the MH to Bridge, Export To UE and finally Package-to-Zip the finished UE project and then share via some form of file-transfer. On a project with just 10 people, those hours can add up to DAYS of essentially unnecessary work that could be skipped with by having a “share as link” function.
