I have requested a music/audio section for these forums a few times but I haven’t had much of a response. I could list many topics of discussion that don’t really belong anywhere else on the forums, the least of which are anything to do with content creation alone; there’s sound design, music composition/production, synthesis (patch design/algorithms), general DSP programming, generative/adaptive music engines, MIDI hardware implementation/mapping etc. These are all the things I specialize in with regards to game development - where are these topics supposed to belong at present? Scattered all over the forum? Believe me when I say that anyone specializing in audio would prefer these topics to be in one place.
