Other than 2D, what is your game going to be about? I would love to see your finish product and good job.
Thx man. It’s really a pet project of mine I’ve been banging away at for several years now. I have a story written and design doc that has gone through many changes. It was initially a 3rd person adventure game, but I think I have finally settled on trying to reimagine the formula used in Zelda 2 for the nes. So essentially an over world that takes you to side scroller sections at certain interaction points. Bug mechs that you ride around in that take you to different sections, light RPG elements like traditional Zelda but in a futuristic environment …honestly a game i would like to play so I’m gonna make one … Only cause ue4 makes it that freaking easy

Looking cool, paingate - good use of the assets - Neat that you’re incorporating different types of camera/play(i TOTALLY catch the Zelda 2 formula here). Keep us updated on progress, for sure!
This looks cool. Even at early stages, I like the look of the level, it has lots of depth to it and just really like the back lit look of it. You have some simple effects in there now, but you should go big on effects, I mean really big… would be awesome.

Wow, that looks very impressive even at this early of a stage. I agree with Obihb with needing bigger effects. Either way though this is cool and I can’t wait to see it progress. I look forward to seeing more
